Wettenberg/Gießen 23.07.2021. TELOGS employees took the first internal company event in more than a year as an opportunity to collect for the NRW flood victims. The 4-digit sum was increased by the owner, Jürgen Dönges, and has already been handed over to the emergency aid of the Ahrweiler district.
The Corona-compliant team meeting was initiated and organized by the TELOGS personnel manager Jeanette Cofalka: “I had the urgent impression that our team needed to see each other again on site and exchange ideas. Even before Corona, our service technicians were not often in the company, and our specialists from the office have been in the home office a lot in recent months. It was time for that!” While preparing for the barbecue, a few employees simultaneously had the impulse to collect donations for the flood victims. “What our service people reported from the crisis areas really got under our skin!” reports Jürgen Dönges, Managing Director of TELOGS. “They were on the ground on an emergency mission to get our customers’ flooded warehouses from crisis areas up and running again.”Despite all the joy of having the entire team on site once again to feel the pulse and strengthen the sense of community, the floods were also a recurring topic, says Jürgen Dönges: “I thought it was really strong of our people to give the impetus for the fundraising campaign, we were all happy to support that.”
