Efficiency and availability
In addition to speed, coordination and precision, one characteristic in particular counts for storage and retrieval machines: they must last for many years with little maintenance. That is:
Be fit for extremely long time spaces and distances. Distance is therefore the name of the new combination of control and drive concept developed by TELOGS. Integrated in retrofi t projects or in plant expansions, Distance helps to increase the efficiency and availability of existing stacker cranes, thus enhancing the operational reliability of the entire plant.
Less wear despite high stress. Reliability through quality.
The secret lies in the components that TELOGS uses in the implementation of Distance and adjusts to existing machines and systems. They have the highest topicality and are always at the highest level of quality. Control hardware is the S7/1515F from Siemens. All drive components come from SEW. And TELOGS obtains the sensor technology from Sick and Leuze. These are all quality brands that can be relied on for long-term availability with a view to the future. The use of the highest-quality components makes a decisive contribution to keeping wear low and reliability high in the long term.
Performance optimization through improved coordination.
Energy savings of up to 25 %. The core task of every RBG: to get from the source to the destination as quickly as possible, lift, lower and return. The more intelligently and efficiently the work steps are coordinated, the higher the power yield in relation to the energy required. Distance includes, among other things, an application solution that provides special energy-saving algorithms for coordinating the lift and travel axes. The software included in the solution enables energy savings of up to 25%.
Additional savings potential:
The energy generated by the RBG itself works with. Certain movements of the stacker crane generate energy that can be directly reused. Every watt that is generated, for example, when the lift carriage is lowered, can be used again immediately, for example, when it is moved back. Only for the rare eventuality: Extremely simple operation for maintenance and troubleshooting. Man is an eye animal. This is why TELOGS focuses on visually controlled user guidance when it comes to maintenance and troubleshooting on the SRM. For each step to be performed, the key that is to be pressed is always illuminated. Neither special language skills nor long briefings are necessary. This enables easy handling even for inexperienced users.
Investment security through project security:
TELOGS integrates even large solutions without pit stops. Thanks to many years of project experience, TELOGS is able to integrate new systems, devices and components into existing plants almost unnoticed by day-to-day operations. The operation goes on, no matter how extensive the requirements are. As a manufacturer-independent general contractor for intralogistics projects, this is one of the reasons why TELOGS is among the technological market leaders. The service portfolio includes the planning, installation, modernization, expansion and maintenance of complex storage systems. The group of internationally active customers includes, for example, Rhenus, Viessmann and Continental. The recipe for success of the TELOGS brand is project management that is traceable down to the last detail.
Clients enjoy high reliability in every project phase and long-lasting investment security after project completion.
TELOGS takes care of that, too:
Ongoing assurance of plant availability after project completion. Once an intralogistics system has been renewed, supplemented or modernized by TELOGS, maintenance and ongoing servicing begin. This can be done under a maintenance contract, on call, or as a Complete Maintenance Service. Experienced TELOGS technicians are available throughout Germany and Europe.
